“The Most Tasteful Museum in the World”
A one-of-a-kind tribute to the Golden Arches’ flagship sandwich and its innovative creator, the Big Mac® Museum Restaurant located on Route
30 in North Huntingdon, PA, provides a unique look at the Big Mac’s history and role as a pop culture icon. The new location pays homage to Owner/Operator and Big Mac inventor Jim “MJ” Delligatti’s 50th anniversary as a McDonald’s franchisee in western PA, while providing visitors with a dining experience they won’t find anywhere else.
Since opening its doors on August 22, 2007, the Big Mac® Museum Restaurant has received visitors from throughout the Laurel Highlands, across the state and around the world as people clamor to see and become a part of the history of the world’s most popular sandwich.
Children love to visit the jungle-themed Playland while adults of all ages can relive their childhood through a myriad of one-of-a-kind historic McDonald’s memorabilia.
Through partnerships with the Laurel Highlands Visitors’ Bureau and its membership, the Big Mac® Museum Restaurant has become one of the most popular destinations in the region.
